As the internet continues to expand, indexing systems (called search engines and directories) have surfaced as a means of sorting the vast amount of information and resources available. Listing with the leading search engines and directories greatly improves the chances that individuals will be able to quickly locate your site. Listing your site with industry-related specialty search engines and directories may improve your site's exposure in key consumer markets.
Basic site registration service.
The site's main page will be modified, if necessary, to improve its chances of achieving high placement in the search engines. The site will then be submitted to the major search engines and subsequently monitored by Pixelate Performance for up to 6 months to determine the site's ranking, if any. Please note that some search engines and directories only accept entries in accordance with their policies. Pixelate Performance does not control the results of search engine registrations.
The Basic Site Registration Service is included as part of the Basic Site Design Service. For existing sites, the service is available on request for a fee of $250 Canadian funds.
Specialty search engines.
Many search engines and directory services have been established for the purpose of indexing web sites that meet a pre-defined criteria. The site registrations are completed manually for each related search engine and directory service, if they exist, and subsequently monitored by Pixelate Performance for up to 6 months to determine if the site was accepted and listed. Please note that some organizations will only accept entries in accordance with their policies. Pixelate Performance does not control the results of search engine and directory registrations.
The Specialty Search Engines service is included as part of the Basic Site Design Service to a maximum of eight registrations. For existing sites, the service is available on request for fees of $30 per hour for the investigation of related search engines and directories. Fees are quoted in Canadian dollars.
